Sacraments & Rites of Passage

IMG_4591 (2)We are a place for Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. These are seen as the Sacraments or Rites of Passage in the Christian Faith and the Anglican tradition.

Baptisms take place in the context of the principal Sunday Eucharist at 9:30am, though this is negotiable if  personal needs need to be taken into account. Because Baptism is of a celebratory nature it is  best suited to take place at Easter and the Season of Easter (March 26th-8th May 2016), The Day of Pentecost (4th June 2016), All Saints day (5th November 2015), and on the feast of the Baptism of the Lord (10th January 2016). During Lent we aim not have baptisms taking place (14th February -20th March 2016), nor the Season of Advent (27th November-25th December 2016).

Similar to Baptism, Weddings are a joyous celebration and so we aim not to have weddings during the Season of Lent  (14th February -20th March 2016). Though this is of course negotiable if pastoral needs need to be taken into account. Our church building is intimately connected with the ministry of All Saints and therefore we do not hire out our church for weddings.

Our funeral ministry is a part of the ministry of All Saints, and our funeral services are in the Anglican Tradition.

If you would like to have your Rite of Passage at our church you are most welcome.
