It is with some regret that the Vestry have made the decision to cancel Our annual Church Fair which is usually on the last weekend of the October School holidays, which would have been the 10th October. With the uncertainty of level changes over the next few weeks and the general hesitancy of people to attend large group events we felt there was no viable way to hold the Fair in October.

We are however exploring the possibility of having something similar to the Fair early next year. We are also discussing our involvement in some other events that take place later in the year such as the Hinemoa Street party, and the Highbury House market day on the 5th December.

If you were planning to drop of items for the Fair we would still like to receive any bigger items that we could sell on Trademe as well as keep in case we have the Fair early next year. 

We do however want to keep open the possibility of having our Quiz Night in November. At the moment we have a tentative date of Saturday 14th November. But as you may understand we cannot confirm this date until we have an idea of level changes over the next few weeks.  

We want to thank you at this time for your understanding. It seems the key word at this time is ‘possibility’ as we face an uncertain future.

We will keep you updated as soon as we hear what is happening in the next few weeks and months.
